What we do
Have you thought about how to present your rings on your wedding day?
Now that your wedding plans are coming along nicely you will have time to think about some of those small but important details.
How do you present your rings on the day?
The fresh approach to this dilemma is an elegant, handcrafted ring box, which is in keeping with a modern, tasteful ceremony. They come in two styles:
- the Classic Box (a lovely natural sustainable wood finished in a satin wax) or
- Alume (a beautiful combination of sustainable rich wood and aluminium)
Both can be personalised with your own special message.
After the ceremony the box is a beautiful everlasting memento of your wedding day - also a great way to ensure your anniversary date is never forgotten.
Use it to put your rings into each night, or as a safe place to keep your rings when you're not wearing them.
Ethical action
The wood used by The Ring Box Company is a truly natural and renewable resource.
The wood comes from sustainable forests that are protecting and developing biodiversity - see: http://www.maf.govt.nz/forestry/indigenous-forestry/indigenous-foresty-for-web.htm
The aluminium we use for our Alume boxes is actually 10% recycled and 90% is fully recyclable.
The Ring Box Company actively supports the New Zealand Native Forests Restoration Trust, which manages 6000ha of protected native forests.
They also support Greening Australia which is an amazing nationwide initiative restoring native vegetation, fauna and wildlife throughout the states.
They offset carbon emissions by annually supporting the planting of trees through the Carbon Footprint program in England.
A few ways we're trying to make a difference

We use in the office 100% recycled paper for our printers. We ensure we reuse paper where we can.

The wood we use for our ring boxes is from a managed renewable resource. The timber is generated from sustainable forest initiatives closely managed by the New Zealand government, Ministry of Agriculture & fisheries department. http://www.maf.govt.nz/forestry/indigenous-forestry/indigenous-foresty-for-web.htm. We also support the planting of trees in the UK through the Carbon Footprint initiative.
