What we do
Motasem offers fabulous classic and contemporary cocktail dresses.
The luxury label was born when head designer, Sabina Ali, was approached again and again to create affordable bespoke cocktail-style wedding dresses that could be worn more than just once.
Suitable for all occasions, particularly weddings, her dresses radiate a cool, understated glamour and are cherished for their quirky details, feminine drapes, silky fabrics and fluid shapes that allow the wearer to feel simultaneously comfortable and sexy.
Motasem is Sabina's middle name, though it's by her first that she is known and respected by major international brands such as Jigsaw, Marks & Spencer, NafNaf and Virgin Clothing Company, with all of whom she has worked.
With limited edition styles being added every three months, there's always something unique to choose from Motasem.
The current Motasem collection blends nautical and Grecian themes together in fluid empire-line shapes, pleated chiffon and silky crepe de chine fabrics in a palette of blues, ivory and flashes of yellow.
All dresses are full-length and come in a range of extra special fabrics, such as pleated changeant chiffon and crepe de chine in ivory or caramel.
Available in sizes from 8 - 16, from £565 to £800.
Ethical Action
The Motasem Bridal Collection is for beautiful brides looking for affordable, stylish alternatives to the traditional wedding dress.
Motasem will create you a gown to be worn again and again, not forgotten at the back of the wardrobe.
All dresses are ethically made in the UK to the highest quality and are available made-to-order directly from a sample collection, by appointment only.
