What we do

Purchase of these favours supports the continuing work of Karmyog, an organisation dedicated to providing vocational skills and new opportunities to young women in Calcutta (re-named Kolkata), India.

Ethical action

We source our beautiful products from charities and Fair Trade Organisations in Calcutta – namely those providing vocational training to highly disadvantaged men, women and children.

We work closely with these organisations to assist with the marketing of their products in the US and Europe and help to create new, exciting products, combining the high skill of the groups we work with, their luxurious hand crafted papers and silks, and contemporary design.­

We source Fair Trade chocolate for our mini-box favours.

Supporting / working with a charity

The favours we provide are made by women that were homeless as children; and who have been trained to make beautiful hand made stationery to earn a living as adults.

Part of the proceeds of this sale will also go towards providing education in childcare homes in Kolkata.­
