What we do

Foundation Jewellery was one of the world's first 20 pioneering ethical jewellers to be registered with the Fairtrade Foundation and is a UK maker of fine ethically sourced jewellery.

In its fine jewellery range, Foundation brings together 18ct Fairtrade and Fairmined gold with the option of fully transparent CanadaMark diamonds.

The whole range combines the tradition, quality and classic design of the very best UK jewellery has to offer.

Engagement rings, wedding rings, pendants and earrings are all made by Foundation Jewellery who can be found online or at a select number of retail outlets across the UK.

Ethical action

Foundation's jewellery is made with either self-certified recycled gold or platinum.

Additionally we use Fairtrade Fairmined gold where customers desire it.

Wherever possible we try to use environmentally friendly equipment and chemicals in our work.

All our diamonds are not just conflict-free but traceable to the very mine they were extracted from, ideally in as harmless way as possible.

We subscribe to the Responsible Jewellery Council and No Dirty Gold campaign.

A few ways we're trying to make a difference

Recycling

Our recycled gold and platinum jewellery is at minimum 95% recycled. Our jewellery boxes are recycled as is the paper we use to print our Foundation Promise.

Supporting fair trade

We are registered licencees of the Fairtrade Foundation.
