EcoEvents offers a unique ethical and environmentally friendly wedding planning service, where you can affirm your commitment to your values AND to your partner.
EcoEvents is the first company of its kind to bring experienced wedding planners, event specialists, and ecological experts together. The result is an eco-friendly wedding that has been expertly designed and meticulously planned to maximise impact while minimising waste.
Our ethical wedding planning services are truly bespoke and we can provide you with as much or as little planning, organising and management as you require.
For those couples who may not want our full eco-friendly wedding planning package, we are able to offer a number of bespoke options:

Ethical Action
We are a professional events management company that has chosen to do things differently.
Event by event, we are changing the face of an industry that is by nature transient and wasteful.
Our skilled team of Events Managers and Ecological Consultants use practices that are ethical and transparent, and ideas that are enterprisingly different.
The result is that you get a first class event with a minimal carbon footprint.
Our principles are such that if you were to cut right through the surface show of EcoEvents to the core, our ethical values would be present at every layer.
Our ethical supplier chain consists of companies that provide only products and services that are made in the UK from sustainable materials and produced in an environmentally responsible manner; all waste is meticulously managed, and all events are carbon balanced.
We firmly believe that there is a place for everybody on the environmentally friendly spectrum and EcoEvents is in business to assist in all areas at all levels.
Awards and Recommendations
Too new for any certification yet but we have received a lot of press (e.g. The Main Event, Brides, New Consumer, Your County Wedding Magazines)
We have also just joined forces with Pink Pumpkin Wedding Design and C-LEVEL to provide a fabulous all-inclusive unique carbon neutral wedding service.
A few ways we're trying to make a difference
Recycling
We use recycling bins at all our events, which means that all bar bottles and packages are carefully managed in an environmentally friendly way. We also use compostable plastics and bio-degradable plates or re-usable china.
Beautiful dried petals are used for confetti and we avoid excessive paper usage by maximising electronic correspondence and using recycled/sustainable paper with vegetable inks.
Renewable energy use
We use biodiesel where possible (e.g. bio generators, hybrid vehicles), and venues powered by wind farms/ or those that buy green electricity.
Reducing carbon footprint
We work in conjunction with C Level and this is included in our all-inclusive service. Carbon compensation is used as a last alternative for unavoidable emissions.
Water conservation
We encourage the use of tap water instead of bottled water to save on transportation costs, or buy in bulk.
Using organic products
Wherever possible we use organic products (e.g. organic caterers, bridalwear, groomswear, favours, drinks).
Supporting local producers
We source local services and producers.
Using cruelty-free products
YES! We never use products that have been tested on animals.
Supporting fair trade
We use organic and fair trade wherever possible (e.g. caterers, drinks supplies, our EcoEvents uniforms).

Just that we are the first wedding planners to bring together a fabulous high calibre team that can give you a beautiful bespoke carbon neutral wedding.
We offer wedding couples the chance to include their carbon savings on invitations, name cards or thank you cards
In the future, we hope to work with local community projects and provide opportunities for local people.
