What we do

Ethical wedding photography
My Wedding Photography philosophy of “Your Day, Your Memories”, ensures quality photography and unobtrusive, friendly, personal service.

"Your Day" acknowledges that it is all about the couple. I know it is your day, so ensure I have as little impact as possible.

The formal photos are done as quickly as possible and I stay in the background for all the informal and candid shots.

"Your Day" also means for as long as you wish, as it is the whole day that is the occasion, not just the ceremony and cake cutting.

This often results in a 12-15 hour day, but it means I capture special moments that other photographers may not.

"Your Memories" reflects that I listen to what you want in terms of style, timings, specific photos. I also use my experience of the venues (having visited them all beforehand) to ensure the best photos possible. And because I'm in the background I always capture photos of family and friends that you weren’t aware of.

Ethical Action

Ethical wedding photography

Everything I do in business I try to do as ethically as possible.

As much of my business comes from personal recommendation this is common sense.

I know how lucky I am to live in a wealthy country and be generally healthy.

My photography gives me a wonderful opportunity to improve the lives of others, both in the UK and abroad who are far less fortunate.

This has involved work with Cancer Research, other medical research organisations, and disadvantaged children in the UK, as well as an orphanage and other projects in Kenya.

Like many people I am also increasingly concerned about our planet and the effect we are having on it.

As a small move in the right direction I’ve become vegetarian, use public transport as often as possible, run my car on recycled bio-diesel, recycle and buy recycled. I also help several environmental, conservation and people projects in the UK and Africa.
