Tell us a bit about yourself and your business
We provide self drive classic cars - coupes, convertibles and saloons - for weekends and weddings across the UK.
Choosing a self drive wedding car instead of a chauffeur hire puts our customers in control - its more flexible, generally cheaper and they get to drive the car of your dreams on your wedding day.
What or who inspires you?
I'm inspired by people who have a vision and follow it but without trampling on others or compromising their morals and values to achieve it. There aren't enough examples unfortunately.
What do you enjoy most about running your business?
Meeting my customers - it is a huge bonus of my job to see the smiles on peoples faces when they realise that they're about to drive a car they've sometimes dreamt of driving since childhood.
What is the most challenging aspect?
Staying ahead of the competition means constantly improving our marketing and customer service. And balancing economic and ethical demands - hence the emphasis on customer service.
What do you feel you bring to an ethical wedding?
We feel that our cars and our service give customers more choice - they don't have to have a white chauffeur-driven Rolls Royce for their wedding car.
Being ethical and responsible is about decisions and choices. We believe that customers should have the option to use a classic car for their wedding but in doing so we have a responsibility to the environment. For this reason we offset the carbon emissions from every hire.
How do you see the wedding industry changing over the next five years (if at all)?
If it changes at all it will become more individual and diverse - the rules about traditional wedding services are becoming less clear-cut.
