What inspired you to have an ethical wedding?
I try to think ethically about everything I do, and naturally also the wedding.
What was the most difficult part about organising an ethical wedding?
Getting the restaurant and my parents to want to consider fair-trade wine and my parents to accept serving fish instead of meat.
What was the most fun bit?
Getting all the guests from the church to the restaurant in a small tourist train that we had hired - now that's carpooling!
How did it go on the day?
It went really well - it was a wonderful day!
What would be your top tips for brides and grooms planning an ethical wedding?
- Instead of gifts get your guests to support a charity
- Serve fair trade wine, fair trade coffee, vegetarian or fish meal, and use free range eggs in all cakes
